Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of ARAM, a business-management app for India’s service providers and their customers. By downloading, accessing, or using ARAM, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

ARAM helps providers — milkmen, gyms, car washers, and tutors — track their work, auto-calculate monthly bills, share bills on WhatsApp, and display UPI payment options. Customers can view their bills, attendance, and payment status. ARAM is a software tool; it does not itself provide any milk, fitness, cleaning, tutoring, or payment-processing service.

2. Accounts and sign-in

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time password (OTP). You are responsible for keeping access to your phone number and account secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Provider responsibilities

• Enter accurate business, customer, and billing information.
• Obtain any consent required before recording your customers’ personal details, and inform them how their information is used.
• Ensure the bills and amounts you generate and share are correct — ARAM automates the calculation from the data you enter, but you remain responsible for what you send.
• Use the app only for lawful business purposes.

4. Payments and UPI

ARAM displays the UPI ID and QR code you provide so your customers can pay you. Payments are made directly between the customer and the provider through their own UPI apps and payment service providers. ARAM is not a payment gateway, is not a party to any transaction, and does not collect, hold, or transfer funds. Any payment dispute is between the provider and the customer. ARAM only records payment status that a user marks in the app.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including by: attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app; using it to send spam or unlawful content; infringing others’ rights; or using another person’s data without authorisation.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and media you add to ARAM. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service for you (for example, storing a bill so it can be shared, or syncing your entries to the cloud).

7. Intellectual property

ARAM, its name, logo, design, and software are owned by ARAM and protected by law. These terms do not grant you any right to our branding or code beyond using the app as intended.

8. Third-party services

ARAM relies on third-party services (such as cloud hosting/authentication and WhatsApp for sharing, and UPI apps for payment). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

9. Availability and “as is”

We work to keep ARAM reliable and fast, but the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calculations will be free of any mistake.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ARAM is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits, lost data, or amounts arising from transactions between providers and their customers. Since ARAM is free to download and use, our total liability for any claim is limited accordingly.

11. Termination

You may stop using ARAM and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the app unlawfully.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of ARAM after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
