Delete Your Account

Last updated: 22 September 2026

You can delete your ARAM account at any time — from inside the app, or by writing to us if you no longer have the app installed. This page explains exactly what is deleted, what is kept, and how long it takes.

1. Delete from inside the app

This is the fastest route and takes effect immediately.

You will be asked to type DELETE to confirm. There is no undo for a customer account.

2. Request deletion without the app

If you have uninstalled ARAM or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you — you do not need to reinstall the app.

We verify the request with the registered mobile number before deleting anything, and complete verified requests within 7 working days. We will confirm by email once it is done.

3. What is deleted

If you are a customer: your ARAM account, your name, your profile photo and your personal gym journal (your own check-ins and progress photos) are deleted straight away. Your phone number is removed from your account record.

If you are a service provider: your business is hidden from ARAM immediately and the services you run for your customers are ended. Your business data — customers, products, bills, payments, attendance, student profiles, progress reports and any media you uploaded — is permanently deleted 30 days after your request. Within those 30 days you can write to aram@zuqah.com to restore the account.

4. What is kept, and why

If a service provider (your milkman, gym, car washer or tutor) has entered records about the service they gave you — bills, payments received, attendance — those belong to that provider's own books, and deleting your ARAM account does not remove them from their records. They keep them for their accounting and tax obligations, exactly as they would keep a paper register. If you want those records removed as well, please ask that provider directly.

Because these provider records are linked to a mobile number, if you later sign up for ARAM again with the same number, a provider who still serves you may appear in your services again. Signing up again creates a new account — your old one is not restored.

5. Backups and logs

Deleted data may persist in encrypted database backups for a short period before those backups expire on their normal schedule, and in technical logs that do not identify you personally.
